18 hours to Salta
We had a mixture of excitement and anxiety about the trip, as on the plus side, as with the bus we got from Buenos Aires to Mendoza, you get mega comfy reclining seats (although this one wasn't a proper bed like the first one was), dinner and breakfast and films, but then you're thinking, 'can we keep Luis couped up for 18 hours?!?!?' We had seats at the back of the bus on the upstairs deck and after we left Mendoza, we saw there were a few empty seats and we're thinking maybe someone hasn't turned up and we can get a seat for Luis! But after asking there were people getting on at stops through the night, arse. After dinner and some films we hit the hay, Luis sleeping with me this time, and all in, we slept pretty well, so come morning with Salta another 4-5 hours away, we felt pretty good and ready to go.
